Either when I launch some games it says file corrupted or while in game, after a certain point the game become corrupted. Any way to fix this issue? I've tried repairing the SD card on my pc but I still have this issue. Sometimes when I take the SD card and put it back in it helps but not often. Usually I would have to re-download the game which can be annoying when I don't have my laptop with me. I might not even know my game was corrupted if I haven't launch the game in awhile.
I bought this SD card from amazon new, but I don't think it's the SD card's fault since I never had this problem before hacking my switch, but I could be wrong. Plus it's random when a game on my SD card becomes corrupted. There could be a possibility of the SD card corrupting my games when I keep taking it out of my switch to install games.
Also I don't think it would be a bad download since the original games that I've bought before hacking the switch became corrupted. I'm using the latest ReiNX CFW.

Have you validated whether or not the micro-SD card itself is authentic?
If you have a smartphone, install SD Insight app to it. Plug in your micro-SD Card. Run the said app.
If it's legit, the manufacturer's logo should appear on the screen. Otherwise, it's fake and might likely be what's causing the issue.
Then, there's also the issue that the ExFAT formatting of the micro-SD card is what's causing the issue, particularly around firmware 6.0 or higher, at least from what I read.

I'll try this out once I'm home. I did update my switch to firmware 6.0.0, but it's been happening before that also.

I used a different app since for some reason SD Insight is not available for my phone (Galaxy s8). I used Fake Device Test app and it passed so it is real

Make a low level format of the sD card.. then format again from win on exfat... and then formatted on the console, then should work fine if no.. then sd card is not good and u can give it back. Cheers.

I actually stop having this problem somehow, I think it stop after I update my switch over 6.0 or something . Maybe it could of been me switching from Reinx to hekate. I don't really know since I did all this at the same time (switching to hekate and updating my switch)

If I may share my 5 cents
    1) To Start make sure you format your SD card on the Switch (not in windows) this step before you do anything at all
    2) make sure when taking SD card out, your switch is OFF and not in sleep (also every single time eject it properly from your computer)
    3) the USB adapter i was using to connect SD to computer was bad. I used a different one and it solved a problem i was having

my 5 cents are basic but it might help another noob such as myself

this is the "done way" of doing things but really just a waste of time.... 9/10 times its due to old/cheap/fake sd cards causing the issues everything has a usage limit before it starts to die.
when you use the card in and out of device this will cause damage to the sd card by minor scratches etc over time this will cause an issue to the card and cheap/fake ones will happen a lot sooner.

unfortuanatly its very hard to know if the cards are real of fake... some supermarkets have been selling fake cards and not even knowing

Formating SD card in the Switch is Not a waste of time.... proven fact you will have less issues as opposed to formatting with windows

As per the fake cards. If you bought it from ebay or an alley in the hood and it shows 156 GB but its an 8GB SD rewriting itself and you need to know if yours is fake here is a link to a program that work. return it to the store
    https://sosfakeflash.wordpress.com/...standard-in-detecting-usb-counterfeit-drives/

If anyone is using home brew apps. retroarch and SD is exFAT then there you have it. exfat and emulator usage leads to file system corruption.. .
